Story of Almond butter cake... sorry bread ...

Mom (while fixing Anusha's seat belt) : Anusha I went to P mausi's house today

Anusha: Poooo massuuu ( (thankfully letting me snap the belts due to the distraction)

Mom: Yes! Poo masuu ! And did you know what Poo masu gave me to give you?

Anusha: uuuuu ..huhhh...

Mom: Look at this Almond butter cake !

Anusha: Bread!!! (a total duhuhh expression for me )

Mom: umm yeah.... almond butter bread... (peevishly)

Anusha: It's YUM ! ( I swear to god she said it, I kid you not)

And then there was total silence till we reached home thanks to the gobs of almond butter cake, i mean bread in her mouth :).

Meeting Ms.Manda

Ms. Amanda came to visit us the other day.

Ms.Amanda aka 'Manda' has been Anusha's favorite teacher at the daycare. She has lovingly and patiently tolerated Anusha's tantrums, fits, vomit episodes since last 1 year. Most of the times after saying teary goodbye to mommy it was Ms.Manda's arms that soothed Anusha and most of the time she feel asleep on her shoulder, curling Ms.Manda's hair in her tiny fingers.

Ms. Manda recently got her Masters degree and a new job! We are so happy for you and at the same time will miss you so much. Thank you for being there for Anusha when I could not be....
